Learn how to make an erupting volcano and do fun baking soda and vinegar science experiments at home.
What will you need:
- Protective Goggles
- Red Colouring
- Gloves
- Sodium bicarbonate
- Pasteur Pipette
- Wooden Spatula
- Volcano Mould
- Plastic Spatula
- Vinegar
- Washing-up liquid
- Tray
Step by Step:
- Start by placing the volcano mould on a flat surface. [0:02]
- Fill the volcano mould with vinegar. [0:06]
- Add 4 drops of red colouring to the vinegar, using the Pasteur pipette, and mix the solution with the wooden spatula. [0:14]
- Then, add a spoon of liquid washing-up liquid with the plastic spatula and mix again. [0:30]
- Prepare a portion of sodium bicarbonate by using the plastic spatula. Count to 3, add to the solution that is in the volcano mould, and mix. [0:39]
